The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) across India. It is one of the most sought-after law entrance exams  in the country.

The CLAT exam is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). The consortium is responsible for organizing the exam and managing the admission process.

CLAT scores are accepted by 22 NLUs and several other private law colleges and universities across India for admission to their law programs.
