Dear Students and Parents,

When I started MeritZone in 2014 from a small room in Laxmi Nagar with six students and zero certainty, I made myself one promise: I would never run a coaching institute that treats students as a revenue number. Every person who walks into MeritZone carries a dream — of a Delhi University college, a National Law University, an IIM. That dream deserves to be taken seriously.

I come from a middle-class family where quality coaching was never a given. I studied hard, figured out patterns the hard way, and realised early that the gap between a student who cracks CUET and one who doesn’t is rarely intelligence — it is almost always strategy and guidance. That realisation is what MeritZone was built on.

In 12 years, we have crossed 1,000+ college selections — students who have walked into DU, JNU, BHU, NLU, IIM, and over a hundred central and state universities. But I am most proud not of the numbers. I am most proud of the calls I still receive from students — years after they’ve graduated — who say that what they learned at MeritZone changed not just which college they got into, but how they think, how they approach problems, and how they handle pressure.

We have always run small batches. Not because we lack space — but because I personally believe that a teacher who cannot tell you the name of every student in the room, who cannot track each individual’s weak sections and mental state, is not truly teaching. At MeritZone, I know your name. My faculty knows your name. That is non-negotiable.

There are a few things I want every student and parent to know about how we operate:

• We never overstate our results. Every selection listed on our wall is a real student with a real name and a real college letter.
• We teach strategy alongside content — exam-taking is a skill in itself, and we take it as seriously as domain knowledge.
• We do not believe in passive learning. Our students are questioned, challenged, and pushed — because comfort does not produce results.
• We offer online and offline coaching with the exact same quality, faculty, and material — because geography should not determine a student’s ceiling.
• We maintain transparent communication with parents. You are our partners in this journey, not bystanders.
